Setup — step by step
- Apply for Myinfo Business. Apply via api.singpass.gov.sg under Myinfo Business with your school's UEN.
- Get client credentials. Receive client ID, client secret and PKI certificates for production.
- Configure EduGradUP. In Setup → Identity → SingPass upload the credentials and certificates and save.
- Register callback URL. Provide the EduGradUP callback URL to the SingPass team for whitelisting on your client.
- Pilot with one parent. Have one parent sign in with SingPass and confirm Myinfo pre-fill renders correctly during a sample admission.

Is this MOE-aligned?
Yes — SingPass is the recommended identity layer for Singapore citizens and residents and is consistent with MOE expectations for parent-facing systems.
Do we still need passwords for parents?
No — SingPass acts as the parent identity. Username/password remains as a fallback for parents abroad without SingPass.
Is parent data stored after Myinfo pre-fill?
Only the fields the parent submits during admission are stored on the student record. EduGradUP does not retain a separate Myinfo cache.
