PayNow (Singapore) integration for EduGradUP
PayNow QR is the standard for digital school payments in Singapore. EduGradUP generates a unique QR per invoice and auto-reconciles incoming credits via the corporate bank feed.
What you get
- Unique PayNow QR per invoice (no manual matching)
- Works with every Singapore bank app
- Auto-reconciliation via DBS/UOB/OCBC corporate feeds
- MAS-compliant, PDPA-aligned
Setup — step by step
- Confirm PayNow Corporate UEN. Confirm with your bank (DBS / UOB / OCBC) that the school's UEN is registered for PayNow Corporate.
- Enable corporate bank feed. Request the corporate bank feed (DBS IDEAL, UOB BIBPlus or OCBC Velocity) for daily inward credit reports in MT940 or CSV.
- Add UEN + feed to EduGradUP. In Setup → Payments → PayNow paste your UEN, upload the bank-feed sample file and save.
- Generate first QR. Open any invoice → click PayNow QR. Save the test QR and confirm the amount and reference render correctly in your bank's PayNow scanner.
- Enable for parents. Flip Visible to parents to ON. Parents now see a Pay with PayNow button on the parent app that opens the bank app of their choice.
Frequently asked questions
Frequently Asked Questions
3 questions
Do we need a special bank account?
You need a PayNow Corporate UEN. Almost every Singapore school's corporate bank account qualifies — confirm with your bank.
How does auto-reconciliation work?
EduGradUP ingests your corporate bank feed daily and matches each credit to the invoice by the unique reference in the QR. Unmatched credits surface in a Review queue for the bursar.
Is this PDPA compliant?
Yes — EduGradUP for Singapore runs in AWS Singapore with PDPA-aligned controls. PayNow itself is operated by Singapore banks under MAS supervision.
