Microsoft 365 for Education integration for EduGradUP

EduGradUP integrates with Microsoft 365 for Education for Azure AD SSO, roster sync to Microsoft Teams, and one-click Teams meeting links inside the timetable.

What you get

Setup — step by step

  1. Register app in Entra ID. In Microsoft Entra Admin Center register a new app for EduGradUP and grant delegated User.Read and EduRoster.ReadWrite permissions.
  2. Add credentials. Paste the Application (Client) ID, Directory (Tenant) ID and a client secret into Setup → Integrations → Microsoft in EduGradUP.
  3. Grant admin consent. From Entra Admin Center grant admin consent to the EduGradUP app for your tenant.
  4. Pilot SSO with one teacher. Have one teacher sign in with Microsoft and confirm role mapping.
  5. Enable Teams roster sync. Flip Teams roster sync to ON. Initial sync of classes and rosters into Teams for Education runs in 5–10 minutes.

Yes — EduGradUP relies on Entra ID for sign-in, so any conditional access policy you enforce there also applies.

Does it sync grades into Teams?

Grades flow from EduGradUP into Teams Assignments when grade sync is enabled.

Is this PDPA / DPDP compliant?

EduGradUP and Microsoft 365 for Education are both designed for K-12 compliance and EduGradUP stores no Microsoft account passwords.
