Setup — step by step

1. Apply for a bKash Merchant account. If you do not already have one, apply on bkash.com under Merchant. You will need your school's trade licence and TIN. Approval typically takes 3–5 business days.
2. Generate API credentials. Once your merchant account is approved, request API credentials from bKash. They will issue an App Key, App Secret, Username and Password for the Merchant API.
3. Add credentials to EduGradUP. In EduGradUP go to Setup → Payments → bKash. Paste the four credentials, set the merchant short code, choose the default fee heads and save.
4. Configure the callback URL. Email bKash technical support with the callback URL shown on the EduGradUP bKash setup page. They will whitelist it on the merchant account within one business day.
5. Run a test payment. From a parent account pay BDT 10 against any invoice. Confirm the invoice is marked Paid in EduGradUP within 60 seconds and the receipt is shown on the parent app.
